Lifetime Care & Support
The LifeTime Care and Support Scheme is a specific scheme providing attendant care support for people with functional impairments and physical disabilities caused through motor vehicle accidents and enabling them to live independently in their home and in the community. We are an approved provider of attendant care services for the Motor Accidents Authority under this scheme.
The scheme aims to:
- Provide a comprehensive and integrated range of basic personal care and support services to assist people who have acquired an injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident with the tasks of daily living
- Help those people maintain their independence in their home and in the community and prevent premature admission to long-term residential care
- Provide flexible and responsive services that recognise changing needs
- Provide services which match lifestyle requirements ( such as outside normal working hours and at weekends )
- Enable people to “bank” unused hours to enable them to take holidays or fulfil other goals
- Allow people maximum involvement in choices about their services
- Allow people to change providers if they are not satisfied with their services
