Courses for Direct Support Staff

Courses for managers and staff at all levels are delivered in various formats throughout New South Wales. Training may be provided as public courses at central venues open to all or to specific organisations for services in their own premises. Content may be customised to meet specific needs and timings arranged to suit the convenience of user organisations. Click on the course title below for more information (all courses are normally run as one day programs unless otherwise stated though many courses can be adapted to run for longer or shorter durations where this is appropriate to meet people’s needs).

in-house staff training

We specialise in developing customised in-house training for support staff in disability organisations. We also provide corporate governance training for Boards of Directors and Committees of Management.

In-house training helps improve staff skills and builds morale. When your organisation books an in-house training course or series of courses with CTCD your organisation will also receive:

a training quote and proposal customised the meet the needs of your organisation;
training at a time and date that suits the organisation. Your organisation’s programme can be extremely flexible and can run from a half day through to several days;
training at a location that suits the organisation. This means we can arrange a central meeting place or we can use your organisation’s existing training facilities. Organisations may also choose to coordinate customised training in association with other local services. This is a particularly good way to get the training your organisation requires at affordable rates in a convenient location;
training facilitators and/or consultants who have extensive experience in the disability sector as well as in the broader community, commerce and government.
