The Community Connections Australia Tech Hub had a great discussion about International Day of People with a Disability.
We learnt about this year's theme of inclusive development and transformative solutions and discussed some things we would like to change about our world and our communities.
We were particularly inspired by the videos of IDPwD ambassadors and their stories.
Some of our ideas included:
Better transport access
Better opportunities for sport including more accessible pools
More involvement in community
Better and more accessible housing
Easier to read information
Accessibility for all people
More support staff and better opportunities for staff training
Better footpaths and road maintenance
