Inclusivity Statement
Updated October 2023
We respect and acknowledge all culture and communities.
At Community Connections Australia, we are committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
By acknowledging and addressing the unique needs of each person- regardless of gender, age, religion, cultural beliefs, or disability,- we strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
At CCA we believe in taking a proactive approach to supporting people to ensure their lifestyle preferences are part of their everyday supports. We ask people what they want as part of the 'Meet & Greet' and when we are developing their individual service plan, staffing requirements and personal training needs. Our staff are also diverse, different ages, ethnicity, lifestyle and cultural beliefs, which enables us to match people's preferences with trained and culturally appropriate staff.
As an organisation we contribute to a more inclusive society by respecting and acknowledging all cultures and communities - for the people we support, their families and networks and for our staff.
