CCA’s Commitment to Rights, Safety & Quality

Our Commitment to Rights, Safety and Quality

Community Connections Australia (CCA) acknowledges the findings and recommendations of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.

We remain committed to upholding the rights, dignity, safety and wellbeing of people with disability and ensuring that the supports we provide promote choice, independence and inclusion.

The findings of the Disability Royal Commission continue to inform our approach to service delivery, governance and continuous improvement.

Our commitment is reflected in our ongoing work to strengthen Practice Governance, improve workforce capability, promote safe and high-quality supports, and involve people with lived experience in decisions that affect them.

Through our Advisory and Focus Groups, we actively seek the perspectives of people receiving services, families and other stakeholders to inform our policies, practices and future direction.

CCA maintains zero tolerance for abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination. We encourage people to raise concerns, provide feedback and contribute to improving our services.

We recognise that safeguarding the rights and wellbeing of people with disability is an ongoing responsibility, requiring accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
